AI Transparency & Disclosures

    Clear Channel Magazine uses artificial intelligence in a limited number of reader-facing features. This page discloses where AI is used, what it can and cannot do, and how we label synthetic content — in plain language, on the surface of the product rather than buried in our Terms.

    Editorial policy

    • Human-led, AI-assisted creation. Articles are drafted and edited with assistance from Anthropic AI (Claude) under human direction and review. Final editorial decisions, fact-checking, and voice are human-curated.
    • Assistive use only. AI is used to help draft, refine, and edit content as well as for spell-check, SEO suggestions, and research prompts — never to fabricate facts, sources, or quotes.
    • Labeled synthetic media. AI-generated audio (article narration) and AI-generated illustrative images are labeled at the point of use, not only in the terms.
    • No AI-generated people or quotes. We do not use AI to impersonate real people, create fake testimonials, or synthesize the voice of any identifiable person.

    Article Drafting & Editing

    What it does:
    Helps draft, refine, and edit articles under human editorial direction.
    Technology:
    Anthropic AI (Claude).
    Known limitations:
    AI-generated drafts are reviewed, fact-checked, and revised by human editors before publication. Final voice and accuracy are human responsibility.

    Magazine Chatbot

    What it does:
    Answers reader questions about our articles and topics.
    Technology:
    Large language model via Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini family).
    Known limitations:
    May produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.

    AI Search

    What it does:
    Semantic search that returns and ranks articles matching your intent.
    Technology:
    Embedding + ranking model via Lovable AI Gateway.
    Known limitations:
    Relevance is best-effort. Ranking is generated automatically and may not reflect editorial priority.

    Listen to Article (Narration)

    What it does:
    Converts article text into spoken audio on demand.
    Technology:
    ElevenLabs text-to-speech (synthetic voice).
    Known limitations:
    The voice is AI-generated and does not belong to the author. Pronunciation and emphasis may vary from the written text.

    Editorial Imagery (select articles)

    What it does:
    Some illustrative images are generated or enhanced with AI tools.
    Technology:
    Generative image models.
    Known limitations:
    AI-generated images are illustrative. They are not photographs of real people or events unless explicitly captioned as such.

    Accuracy & performance

    We describe our AI features as assistive, not authoritative. We do not claim that our chatbot, search, or narration is neutral, unbiased, or accurate in all cases. AI outputs can be wrong, out of date, or reflect biases in their training data. Readers should independently verify anything material before acting on it.

    AI features are provided as-is for informational and navigational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice.

    Your data

    Messages you send to our chatbot and queries you submit to AI Search are transmitted to our AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway) solely to generate a response. We do not sell your prompts. Narration audio is generated by ElevenLabs from article text — no personal data is submitted for narration.
